During Summer STEM and Arts 2023, we will be dissecting a dogfish shark. The circulatory system of a dogfish shark and a human are fairly similar, but we will also explore the differences in the circulatory systems between this marine animal and a human. For this reason we will offer students the opportunity to witness these similarities first-hand. The lab will be done in small groups with emphasis on respect to the animal being dissected. If you would not like your child to participate in the lab or if your child does not wish to participate in the lab, please check off the appropriate box below. An alternate activity can be provided if the student does not have permission. *
