Educator-In-Resident Grants

The objective is to bring resource people into classrooms of the Claysburg, PA area where they can share their expertise with students, staff, and in some cases, members of the community.

Exciting things can occur in our schools and educational facilities when a guest educator has taken up residence in a classroom.

Educators in Residence programs can be highly motivational for both students and staff.

Noted authors and illustrators of children’s books, world-class musicians  are just a few examples of what can be done with workshops in elementary and secondary schools or other educational facilities. As a result, hundreds of students can enjoy an unforgettable experience in the arts.

Programs of this type have a maximum impact as they provide and extra-special opportunity for learning.

The Claysburg Education Foundation rewards the creation of exciting and innovative educational ideas through the Venture Grants for Teachers Program.

Grant awards  to aid teachers in the design and development of educational materials for the implementation of innovative and creative classroom projects that will enhance student learning.
