9:00am-2:00pm each day with 1/2 hour for lunch

Lunch is provided!

For CK Students entering 5th-10th grade for the 2021-22 school year.​

​

​Each day will be a 1/2 day of STEM and a 1/2 day of the Arts and other areas.

Students will have a focused but fun curriculum.

We will have a 'Swamp Week!' with activities involving our local ecosystem including the stream right behind CKHS!

Plans are also being made to offer at least one field trip.

Kids - Come and earn tickets daily for prizes that will be awarded at the end of each week!

Note:  Due to Covid-19, our goal is to have a fun program but also keeping all students, staff and volunteers safe.  We will aim to be outside as much as possible.  A tent or other shaded areas will be provided, but please send along sunscreen along with a labeled water bottle.  We will practice social distancing as much as possible and masks will be required at times, especially indoors and on any field trips.  There will be opportunities for mask breaks as well.

​If you have concerns on transportation for your child for the summer program, please contact Rose Mauro at 814-239-5838.  She may be able to assist you with possible car pooling with other parents.

The Claysburg Education Foundation has agreed to cover the costs of this program so students will only pay $25 for 6 days total.  The estimated cost to the Foundation for this program will be approximately $20,000 +/- depending upon student participation.
